Donation Refund Policy

ASISH has instituted this Donation Refund Policy to ensure fair and transparent processing of refund requests, especially as digital payments are becoming more frequent. We expect all donors to exercise due care and diligence while making donations. However, we recognize that errors may occur or a donor may change their decision.

ASISH will examine each refund request individually and endeavor to process eligible refunds. We may request additional information or documentation, and donors are required to cooperate in this regard.

Important: ASISH is not obligated to grant refunds and may, at its discretion, decline any request, particularly if a tax exemption certificate has already been issued.

Refund Request Conditions

If you would like your donation to be refunded:

  • You must submit a written request or email within 7 to 10 working days from the date of donation.
  • The date of donation refers to the date on which you:
    • Made the donation online or electronically, OR
    • Handed over the cheque/demand draft to ASISH or its authorized representative, OR
    • Dispatched the cheque/demand draft to ASISH.

Required Details for Refund Request

Your written request must clearly state the reason for requesting a refund and include the following details:

  • Date of donation
  • Donation amount
  • If paid by cheque/draft – Cheque/Draft number
  • If paid by credit card – Last 4 digits of the card number
  • If paid online – Donation ID
